Fight Michigan just found out that Matt Flynn and XCC have signed the legendary Butterbean to fight for the XCC Super Heavyweight Championship at Michigan’s second Professional MMA event. XCC 46 – Beatdown at the Ballroom 9 happens this Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Emerald Ballroom in Mt. Clemens. Matt tells me he might be able to get us the full fight card before the event, and if he does, we’re gonna pass it right along to you. Xtreme Cagefighting Championship presents Rumble in Royal Oak 3. Three belts are on the line at this event, which will be a King of the Cage qualifier AND if you can’t get tickets, you can catch the action in a live webcast at cagefightinglive.com. You don’t really want to do that, though… wouldn’t you rather see the action live and in person? Of course you would.

Saturday November 28, 2009 at the Royal Oak Music Theater. Gates open at 6:30 PM, fights start at 8PM. Tickets are $25-$100. Check out XCCLIVE.COM for more details.

Last night Fight Michigan traveled to the border of Michigan and Canada to witness Xtreme Cagefighting Championship‘s Battle at the Border 6 featuring 5 preliminary fights, 17 USA vs. Canada fights, 1 Championship Qualifier bout, and 3 Championship Title matches.

Promoters Woodrow James and Matt Flynn were kind enough to allow us access to the locker rooms and the fighter’s meeting, where it was announced that in general, elbows would not be allowed, but that if both fighters agreed, elbows would be allowed.

It was an exciting night of non-stop action. If you get the chance to see an XCC show, you definitely should. This was one of our favorite shows to date. It was so good, we will probably watch it again when it becomes available online. Keep checking CageFightingLive.com, they should have it online soon.

There were a few last minute changes to the fight card, so if we spelled anyone’s name incorrectly, we apologize. Just leave us a comment and let us know. We will fix it as soon as possible.

Xtreme Cagefighting Championship brings live MMA to McMorran Arena in Port Huron, MI. There are 22 fights scheduled including a Women’s Title match between Bobbi Jo Dalziel and Erika Bobier. I’ve heard that both women have a hard time finding other women who are actually willing to fight them, so you know it’s going to be one hell of a battle. You aren’t going to want to miss this event!
