Don't Forget: MMA Judge and MMA Referee Seminar this weekend with Marc Fennell


Marc Fennell is offering a CERTIFIED MMA Referee/Judge Clinic to those of us that long to be in the cage, but would rather not eat elbows and leg kicks. Marc has experience as an international MMA Referee. He’s been assigned to referee throughout the Midwest, cheap nfl jerseys Costa Rica, Canada, King of the Cage and the UFC at UFC 90 in Chicago.

The class size is limited to 15 participants.

The clinic is open to everyone, from any organization.

The cost is $200.00 per person

November 7th 2009
8:00am-8:15am – Introductions
8:15am-11:00am – Fouls/Rules-Unified Rules & Procedures
11:00-12:00pm – Lunch
12:00pm-3:00pm – What to expect (referee)-positioning, angles, responsibilities, mechanics, stopping a fight, standing fighters, restarting oakley sunglasses for men a fight, controversy (how to handle/avoid), the ground game, the striking game, Medicals, Perceptions and Ethics
3:00pm-5:00pm – What to expect (judge)-responsibilities, point deductions, scoring fight, controversy, focus, interaction with referee, scoring criteria

November 8th 2009
8:00am-8:30am – Review/Questions from previous day
8:30am-11:30am – Before/During/After the fight-appearance, right frame of mind, knowing the fighters, cage/ring inspection, prefight meeting with all oakley sunglasses cheap officials, dealing with cameras/microphones, conducting fighters meeting, know where officials are seated and how to communicate, inspect fighters before fight begins, review of What cheap nba jerseys to expect section, dealing with emotions, post fight meeting with officials.
11:30am-12:00pm – Lunch
12:00pm to 4:00pm – Hands on-Perform an inspection of cage/ring, conduct a fighters meeting, a group of fighters will spar with the students acting as Referees. Fighters will be asked to perform certain tasks, fouls, issues, etc. The acting Referees should perform the tasks as if in a real situation.
4:00pm-5:00pm -Written Test, Evaluation, issue of certificate of attendance.
